Confident decisions. Lasting balance.

About

A French-qualified lawyer, I advise business owners and executives — primarily at industrial and B2B services companies, from small and mid-sized businesses to larger mid-market groups — on the decisions that shape a company’s future: selling the business, bringing in new shareholders, or growing through acquisition.

These decisions reshape ownership and governance dynamics and determine whether a company can be effectively managed over time, with the right shareholders and strategic partners in place.

I work alongside business owners and their companies through each of these milestones, combining legal and financial perspectives to identify operational, governance and ownership issues early — so that every decision is made with a clear understanding of what is at stake.

Approach

Clarify upfront

Define objectives, constraints and key concerns before negotiations begin.

Structure the balance of interests

Map out the legal, governance and ownership issues at stake so that every decision made during negotiations is fully informed.

Secure every step

Identify risks early and translate the decisions reached into negotiation strategy and legal documentation.

Keep sight of the big picture

Coordinate the other advisors involved in the transaction — financial advisors, tax counsel and foreign counsel — and keep decisions, negotiations, documentation and execution aligned throughout the process.

Alex Ebangué

After several years with French and international law firms, I have advised on transactions ranging widely in size and complexity.

That experience has shaped a pragmatic approach: advice tailored to what each situation actually requires, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
